    The NOAA narrative states: "A thunderstorm produced wind gusts measured at 55 kts. by the ASOS at Randolph AFB (KRND)." NOAA filed two separate records for the same event, and one notes this was "the second peak wind at Randolph" for that storm. Recorded wind speed: 55 knots.

  3. January 10, 2020: 51 Knot Wind at Randolph AFB in Universal City

    The NOAA narrative states: "A thunderstorm produced a measured wind gust of 51 kts. at Randolph AFB in Universal City." Recorded wind speed: 51 knots. This event names Universal City directly.
