    NOAA recorded two occurrences on the same date. The narratives state: "A thunderstorm produced 2.5 inch diameter hail in Boerne" and "A thunderstorm produced tennis ball size hail in Boerne."

  3. April 2, 2017: 78 Knot Thunderstorm Wind in Boerne

    The NOAA narrative states: "A thunderstorm produced wind gusts estimated at 90 mph that destroyed a large metal building in Boerne." Recorded wind speed: 78 knots.

  4. June 16, 2019: 65 Knot Thunderstorm Wind in Boerne

    The NOAA narrative states: "A thunderstorm produced wind gusts estimated at 75 mph. A CoCoRAHS observer reported three large Oak trees, estimated at one to two feet in diameter, [downed]." Recorded wind speed: 65 knots.

    One tornado rated EF0 was recorded in Kendall County, touching down near Kendalia and tracking 9.8 miles east into Blanco County.
