Warranty Questions

Everything you need to know about your coverage.

Is the warranty transferable if I sell my home?
Yes. Our 10-year residential workmanship warranty is fully transferable to a subsequent homeowner within the warranty period at no additional charge. Notify us in writing and we'll update our records.
What is the difference between workmanship and manufacturer warranty?
The workmanship warranty covers mistakes or defects in how your roof was installed — that's our responsibility. The manufacturer warranty covers defects in the materials themselves — GAF and other manufacturers back this directly, typically for 25–30 years.
Does storm damage void my warranty?
No. Storm damage is a separate insurance claim matter and does not affect your workmanship warranty. The warranty covers installation defects — not acts of nature.
What do I do if I have a leak and I'm not sure if it's covered?
Call us. We'll inspect at no charge and let you know whether the leak is a warranty issue or a separate matter (like storm damage). Either way, we'll help you resolve it.
How do I request a Certificate of Warranty?
Contact us at contact@topchoicerc.com or call (210) 500-9131 with your property address and installation date. We'll provide documentation within 2 business days.
